1. The service

Field Site is a website builder that lets you choose templates, enter structured information, and publish live websites. We may add, remove, or change features over time to improve the platform.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for your account, your login credentials, and activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details reasonably up to date.
• You must not use Field Site to impersonate others or mislead visitors about who you are.

3. Your content

You own the content you upload or enter into Field Site (text, images, links, and other materials). You grant Field Site a limited license to host, store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and publishing your website.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to publish your content, including permissions for images, logos, and copyrighted material.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Field Site for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities. This includes:

• Hosting malware, phishing pages, or deceptive content.
• Harassment, hate speech, or threats of violence.
• Infringing intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempting to break, overload, or bypass security.
• Spamming or sending unsolicited messages via the service.

5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Field Site offers paid subscriptions (and may offer trials). Billing terms shown at checkout control pricing and renewal for your plan.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• If a trial is offered, you may be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand.
• Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.

To manage billing, upgrade/downgrade, or cancel, use your account’s billing controls.

6. Publishing and availability

We work to keep Field Site reliable, but uptime is not guaranteed. Maintenance, outages, third-party provider issues, or unexpected bugs can occur.

We may temporarily suspend access to protect the platform or investigate abuse. We may also restrict publishing if required by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using Field Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the platform or others.

After termination, published sites may be removed, and access to the editor may end. Some data may remain in backups for a limited time for operational reasons.

8. Privacy

Our Data Privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use information. In short: we do not sell or redistribute user data, and we only use data to operate your account and publish your site.

9. Refunds

If you are charged by accident, forget to cancel, or simply decide that Field Site is not what you expected, just reach out to us at contact@field-site.com. We are happy to review your request and issue a refund when something does not feel right. We would rather do right by people than force anyone to stay subscribed to something they do not want.

10. Disclaimers

Field Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly fit for every purpose. You are responsible for the content you publish and the outcomes of using the platform.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Field Site will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Field Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
